- We come to Dosti club to meet friends, develop new acquaintances – which is impossible to do sitting at home alone.
- We talk, discuss, laugh and socialise. We exchange our views and community news.
- Share members’ happy events and sympathise in their sorrows.
- Learn from each other’s experiences, give tips, etc.
- All of us enjoy exercise sessions, which keeps us fit.
- Afternoons are spent by playing antakshari, singing, joking or garba. We all participate celebrating various festivals.
- Some of the members do not enjoy food provided. Some members complained about loud voices, talking at the same time. Strict discipline is needed.
- Brain/memory stimulating games should be played more frequently.
- More talks on health issues - alternative medicine and what help available.
- Debates and discussion on various subjects, social issues, safety and environments etc.
- Steps should be taken to development of spiritual – alongside with physical and social well being.
- South Oxhey branch have introduced a charity collection – each member contribute 10p. Minimum every week. When a substantial amount is collected, the money is sent to a registered charity of members’ choice.
- Trips encourage members to visit new places among people they know.
